Salim Duman American School of Warsaw Dear Delegates,
I am more than honored to have the privilege of serving as chair of the Historical Committee at the so-prestigious and magnificent ZYGMUN Conference. I could not describe with words how excited I am for this great experience which I'm sure I'll remember for the rest of my life!!!!
I am a junior at the American School of Warsaw in Poland, the country I lived in for my entire life, even though I am Turkish and see Turkey as my home.
The topic at hand for the Historical Committee this year in ZYGMUN Conference is the Treaty of Sèvres. As this is an ambiguous topic that can go many different ways, I look forward to moderating the debate that will become much more interesting with all of your contributions.

Christos Papanikolaou Arsakeio School of Ionnina Dear ZYGMUN Participants, The Historical Committee is in my opinion one of the most interesting committees ZYGMUN has to offer, since it pertains to many pressing issues concerning concrete historical events that have shaped world history. This committee will provide you the opportunity not only to educate yourself on this treaty and its relevant events, but also get in the role of some impactful historical figures and get to change the outcome of these events. The Treaty of Sèvres especially, has had a great impact on the borders of today’s countries as we know them and is considered one of the most important in recent history.
MUN conferences will not only give you the opportunity to express your beliefs on a plethora of interesting topics, but debate from the viewpoint of different countries as well. The MUN process will help you grow, identify your talents and utilize them, as this topic will offer a lot of fruitful debate.
I look forward to sharing an amazing MUN experience with you all.
